First, an H1N1 vaccine update: we have not received any more doses of H1N1 vaccine and have only a few doses left (less than 10 doses) for kids under 3 years of age. We are reserving those for kids who have not received their first dose yet. So, if your child is over 3 years of age or if you child is under 3 but has already had a dose of the H1N1 vaccine, we cannot offer it to you at this time. You may contact the health department to see if they have any available for your child. Also you may check with Walgreen's, CVS, and Target pharmacies. Feel free to complain to the health department about the fact that these pharmacies have vaccine and your pediatrician does not. We ordered more doses more than a month ago. We just received our last shipment of seasonal flu vaccine. We have a few appointments available on Friday morning in our flu vaccine clinic this week. We are not scheduling beyond Friday morning because we need to work out nursing availability for more flu clinics. Watch for another email on Monday or Tuesday with an update. We apologize for our continued supply issues with both of these vaccines. Please understand that we are as frustrated as you are.
