  • The child self-isolates.
  • They have Low energy/Increased fatigue.
  • They express feelings of guilt.
  • They have a low self-esteem/feelings of worthlessness
  • There needs to be more focus in school/home.

If any signs significantly impact your child over two weeks at school and home, you should call us for a pediatric consultation. We do mental health screenings for the above signs when you come for a consultation. Your child's psychological and physical health are equally important to us.

Children have enough to go through as they grow and develop. When showing signs of mental health problems, they need help immediately. We have many recommendations we can share with you. A mental health screening may include playing with your child and conversations in a 1:1 question-and-answer format. We will,

  • Identify the problem
  • Seek the correct treatment
  • Consider medication, behavior management, therapy, or a combination of different approaches.
